Debt Consolidation, Debt Payoff, and Debt Counseling Services - Good and Bad Credit Options

Credit Card Debt No More

I am the queen of credit cards. I use them all the time, I use them for everything. Like clothing, food, utility bills, restaurants, entertainment, everything. Eventually, I had put so much debt on them that I had to apply for more cards and because I had good credit and was paying the minimum balance on each one, and on time, getting new credit cards was no problem at all. But eventually, I had too many cards to handle. My paycheck wasn’t enough anymore to pay off all of them and I still wasn’t at the point where I wasn’t using them. So I had huge debt and couldn’t stop myself from getting into more debt. Also, the newer cards I was getting had higher interest rates, making it that much worse for me.

Eventually, I just had to find a way out of debt. So I talked to friends and they said debt consolidation might work for me. So I looked online, researched, read articles and finally found debt-meltdown.com. It’s a website that deals with debt consolidation, debt payoff as well as debt counseling, which can be very helpful for me. So I filled out their pre-qualification online consultation form and someone contacted me almost immediately. We talked over the phone for quite some time and they explained a few things to me. They said I would be a perfect candidate for debt consolidation, that they can consolidate all my credit cards debt into one, manageable payment every month. They also said that they might be able to lower my payment by a substantial amount, up to 60% lower and that I could probably finish of my total debts within 36 months.

Needless to say that I did go ahead and consolidate my debts with debt-meltdown.com. They really helped me out, especially with the debt counseling. There were a lot of things I didn’t know and didn’t understand. I constantly check on their website for resources that can further help me, like their articles. They have a bunch of them with tips on how to shop in a smart way, how to make a budget, how to lower your electric bill at home, all great advice on how to help you save so that once you’re out of debt, you stay out of debt.

Today, I have a household budget and I’m proud to say that I stick to it. I’m closer to finishing off my credit card debt and don’t use any credit cards anymore. I only have one for emergencies, everything else I try to pay in cash. Today, I live within my means.
